Weekend Sleepover Fun!

Zoey and I got the dolls all set for their own sleepover this weekend...it was Elizabeth's first "official" sleepover since she's been with us so she was the guest of honor and got the top bunk.

Elizabeth, Zoe and Bella all got the bunks while the other girls got sleeping bags on the floor.

Julie and McKenna don't mind sleeping on the floor at all! Especially since their sleeping bags are so cuuuute!  They didn't do all that much sleeping anyways...lots of talking was heard throughout the night.

They weren't as bad as Rebecca and Kristen though!  Those two were up all night giving each other quizzes from their AG doll Magazines!

In the morning the girls enjoyed some breakfast all together, that is...all but Julie.  She was still sleeping at 11am!

Having doll sleepovers is so much fun!

After our doll play fun Zoey and I decided to re-arrange her bedroom which meant her doll stuff got re-arranged as well.  I think it's so fun to change things up once in awhile in your play space.  It turned out really cute and I think Zoey actually has more room to play in her room now the way we set it up.

Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoy celebrating the father figure's in your life!

Camp Doll Diaries!

We are so excited to be attending summer camp this year at Camp Doll Diaries! This weekend we prepared by creating our banner for camp, hanging up camp signs, making a camp shirt and having the dolls fill out their registration forms.

Kristen is our camp leader so she helped the other girls by passing out forms, making sure they all had the right ones and helping with any questions they might have had when filling them out.  First to arrive to camp was Rebecca...she was a bit nervous, this is her first time attending camp so she's a bit unsure of what it's all about.

As soon as other friends started arriving though she started feeling more comfortable. Her good friend Julie had a huge bag packed, hope she is prepared!

Next came McKenna...she was so excited.  She can't wait to see what the outdoor events will be this year at camp!

After the girls picked up their forms they set aside their luggage and belongings and headed for the mess hall to complete the registration forms.

Kristen, their camp leader, was there to help with any questions they had.

After the girls filled out their forms Kristen told them they could go ahead and make some posters to hang in their cabin if they wanted.  The girls decided to all draw pictures of caterpillars and butterflies since that was what they were learning about in Science right before school was let out.

What a fun first day of camp activities!!  Can't wait to share more with you soon!

It's Raining, it's Pouring...

It was a rainy day yesterday, I had to run to Walmart to pick up a birthday gift for my daughter's friend and when I saw this darling Playing in the Rain Set I had to pick it up. It is from the 18" My Life as... doll brand.  I paid $14.95, and it came with a cute red vinyl rain coat, red and white galoshes, a working umbrella, black and white striped pants, a pet dog complete with his own matching rain gear.

I was afraid that the rubber galoshes would be difficult to get on, but they are split all the way up the back and slipped on without a problem.  The little buckles on the side and the white detailing really add to the realism.

The pet dog comes with the set, Kirsten can't wait for him to meet Coconut!

He comes with his own matching raincoat, umbrella hat, collar with tag, and a matching red leash we found when we took off the raincoat to try it on our AG brand pet cat Ginger!  The set does fit the AG cat too, and I would guess that the same would be true of Coconut..but right now he is MISSING!  Kirsten may need to hang some missing dog posters around the neighborhood!

You can see how easily the umbrella stays in Kirsten's hand.  It is sized perfectly and balances well.  It comes with an elastic band that slips over her wrist to enable her to really hold the umbrella.  The umbrella comes in the closed position and opens just like a real umbrella!

Ooooh! That puddle looks like fun!  Kirsten enjoyed walking in the rain today- right through the mud, and when she was done the mud rinsed right off the rubber boots!

If you can find this set, I would highly recommend it!  At $14.95, you cannot beat the number of pieces, the fit and attention to detail!  The ONLY improvement that I could see, would be if they had lined the hood with the polka-dot fabric.  You don't notice it when the hood is up at all- still very cute!!!  So glad we found it on this rainy day!

From the Weekend...

With it being a holiday weekend here we had plenty of time to get out the dolls and have some play time with them.  It felt good since it had been awhile for us due to being extra busy the end of the school year upon us.

Zoey got out Zoe and Bella to help with some gardening projects around the yard.

The adorable gardening outfit was made by Tallulah Sophie.  It included the green and white polka dot shirt, the coveralls, bandana, shoes and gardening apron.  The set also came with the purple gardening pot.

The girls first project was to pot some plants for the yard.  I think they chose some nice ones don't you?  :)

Bella is wearing the gardening apron while she waters some of the freshly potted plants.

After done potting the plants they assembled all of their things to clean up a bit before having a picnic.  The weather this past weekend was just perfect for a picnic and after working so hard in the yard it felt so good to enjoy their efforts while still outdoors.

Zoe can never sit still for too long though and as soon as she finished up her meal she was off to look for a good spot to put their birdhouse that they had painted.

She found a spot quickly near what looked to be a little fairy house...perfect!

It was such a fun day for everyone!  Zoey actually did some planting in the yard too...she planted some sunflowers which we hope the deer won't get once they start sprouting.

And then she also put together a little fairy garden...

It was such a beautiful weekend here!  I hope that wherever you are it was a good one as well.  I know that this past weekend made me really excited for summer, I am ready for school to be over with so we can have more free time and of course more fun in the sun with the dolls!!
